eFestival of Words: Finalists

Again to my surprise two of my books and one of my covers made it to the finals of the

eFestival of Words – Best of the Independent eBook Awards

The nominations were by peers, meaning people somehow connected with writing and/or publishing. This time the vote is open for the public.

You can see how I’m doing (and vote) here:

Best Novel
The Invisible Hands – Part 2: Castling

Best Fantasy (High Fantasy/Sword and Sorcery)
The Invisible Hands – Part 3: Pawn Storm

Best Cover Art
The Invisible Hands – Part 3: Pawn Storm
The credit for this should actually go to Adrijus Guscia, for the cover design, and Agnieszka Mirosław-Kalinowska, the artist who drew the pawns.

Badge nominee Efestival of Words - 2014Here you can find all the finalists of the 2014 eFestival of Words.

I’m pleased to see a lot of people I know got through to the finals as well. Especially my good friend Caddy Rowland who managed to stay in the running for Best Series — where I got booted from, but, then again, I mustn’t be greedy — for the Gastien Series, and Best Historical Fiction for Gastien: Circle of Destiny.

Now it’s up to the voters. I just feel lucky, not to mention honored, to have gotten this far as a finalist in no less than three categories. I have no idea who voted for my books and the cover, but they have my gratitude.

I don’t know when the voting will end or when the winners will be announced.

Again many thanks to organizer Julie Dawson.

My pleasure, Caddy. The competition is strong, though. ;)

    Congrats on the nominations! :)

I realized there is now a new cover for ‘Castling’ in the style of ‘Pawn Storm’, it looks awesome!
Do you plan on re-working the cover for ‘Gambit’ as well to make them all fit together? :))

      Hi Kathi,

Thanks, and yes, I do. In fact I already have it, and I’ll upload it as soon as I have time. It’s a bit of hassle changing the covers for several vendors and on several sites, but I’ll get to it. ;)

    Hey Andrew!

I do believe you have a few more votes in your categories… :D

Congrats, and good luck to you and to the cover artists!

      Thanks, Lindy.

      I appreciate the support. :)
